 Board of Chapter Advisors Trustee, Historian advisor, bad at communicating. Works for the enemy (natural gas) trying to make sure no one blows up houses on accident. Will talk your ears off about nuclear power. Previously ran Wine and Cheese for PD for a couple years. The FIJIs I know have been my friends and compatriots for a quarter century now and I've got no idea where I'd be without you all. Hobbies include hiking, terrible gardening, reading, gaming, plotting death for tabletop characters, camping, vacationing in countries with political unrest (not my fault), and 100% peaceful nonviolent solutions to problems.

Jake, originally from Dallas, TX, serves Gamma Kappa as a BCA Trustee. During his undergraduate career, he served as recruitment chair, public relations chair, and as an Interfraternity Council delegate; his IFC career also included a stint as IFC social chair. Outside of the fraternity, his collegiate experience included involvement in several campus ministries and club sports.

Outside of work, he enjoys working out, swimming, playing video games, serving as a student leader and small group leader at his church, cheering on his Dallas Stars and Texas Rangers, and sharing a meal with a friend (or several).

  Umberto Kilbarger is a Board of Chapter Advisors Trustee. Umberto graduated in 2012 with a BS in Chemical Engineering and currently works for Mikron Corporation Denver as the Quality Engineering Assistant Manager, where he breaks/Validates high precision automated assembly lines. Umberto has served as previous Pig Dinner Chairman from 2015 to 2020.

He served the chapter as the philanthropy and service chairman during his undergraduate career and graduated from Mines with a B.S. in Computer Science in 2018 and a M.S. in Engineering and Technology Management in 2020. He currently works for Datadog in Denver as a Sales Engineer.

Pig Dinner Chairman

Pledge Class: Tau Triton

 John joined the Gamma Kappa chapter during the fall of his freshman year, and has been a proud Fiji ever since. During his undergrad, John served as the Pledge Educator, Recruitment Chairman, Treasurer, and Risk Chairman. He now serves as the Pig Dinner Chairman for the BCA, leading the organization of the chapter's annual reunion dinner. John works as a design engineer for the Colorado Department of Transportation - a position he greatly enjoys, and one he would not be in now had he not heard about it from his brothers. When not working or volunteering for the chapter, John enjoys hiking, volunteering for trailwork projects, brewing and visiting breweries, volunteering at a daycare in Colorado Springs, board games, book club, all kinds of DIY projects, and spending time with his friends, family, and brothers.

Justice graduated from Mines with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2022 and currently works for Mikron Corporation Denver as a Mechanical Engineer, designing high-precision automated assembly lines.
