Thorn is the current President of the Board of Chapter Advisors. He has served as the recruitment chairman, recording secretary, and president of the Gamma Kappa chapter, as well as the purple legionnaire. Thorn graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering in 2011, and started his own wealth management practice with Northwestern Mutual, where he helps engineers and people from math/science backgrounds to save more money and save more efficiently. Thorn lives in Highlands Ranch with his wife Chelsey ('12 MechE, EE), his son Xavior, his daughter Aribella, and his son Vincent.

Chris Pederson is the Recording Secretary for the Board of Chapter Advisors. Chris graduated from Mines with an M.Sc. in Geological Engineering in 2014 and has been working for BGC Engineering Inc., an international geological engineering consulting firm based in Canada, helping pipeline operators identify and manage the risks posted by geohazards. Chris lives in Golden, enjoys music, tabletop games and getting outside.

For over 25 years, Matthew has been a dedicated volunteer with Phi Gamma Delta. He currently oversees chapters at Colorado State and Utah State Universities. His extensive involvement includes 13 years as Chapter Purple Legionnaire and 6 years on the national Section Leader Executive Committee. These experiences fueled his personal growth and fostered lifelong friendships with brothers across North America. Matthew remains a strong advocate for Phi Gamma Delta's core values of Friendship, Knowledge, Service, Morality, and Excellence.
Beyond his fraternity involvement, Matthew serves as the Area Leader for Planning, Permitting and Licensing for the Western US at TRC Companies. When he's not volunteering or working, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife, Adria, and their two dogs. He also cheers on his favorite soccer teams, the Colorado Rapids and Tottenham Hot Spurs.
