Phi Gamma Delta unites men in enduring friendships, stimulates the pursuit of knowledge, and builds courageous leaders who serve the world with the best that is in them.
A multi-level member development experience begins on the first day of affiliation. It extends throughout the undergraduate experience designed to help brothers build and strengthen the skills necessary for Courageous Leadership.

I’m Jiah Spector, and I’m from Colorado Springs, Colorado. I'm a second-year student, majoring in computer science, focusing on data science. I joined Fiji as part of the Lambda Tetarton class. Fiji has been one of the most valuable investments of my life. It has taught me that you can be a part of a bigger change and the importance of excellence. I have held various leadership positions, from social chair to corresponding secretary. Now, as president, I am working to give back and help others grow into courageous leaders.

From Colorado Springs. I am a second-year majoring in Mechanical Engineering with an Electrical Engineering minor and Aerospace focus. I joined Fiji during my first semester of college with the Lambda Tetarton class. I was the brotherhood chair starting in the fall up to my election and president during my second semester. I enjoy volleyball, piano, and skiing. An ideal graduate connection would be in the field of mechanical and electrical engineering. I hope to succeed in my position by increasing the efficiency of documentation while further boosting brotherhood and internal harmony.

I am a sophomore studying Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Nuclear Energy, and I'm from Highlands Ranch, CO. I joined Phi Gamma Delta in Fall 2024 as part of the Lambda Tetartons. I currently serve as the Treasurer and held social chair from Spring 2025 to Fall 2025. My current hobbies and interests consist of photography, learning electric guitar, smoking meat, and golfing with my family. I'd love to connect with more professionals in the nuclear industry, whether it be power or defense. I'm also open to anything mechanical-related.

Born in Mexico and raised in Venezuela, I bring a diverse perspective to my studies in Mechanical Engineering, complemented by a minor in Electrical Engineering. Now residing in Denver, I'm eager to contribute my skills and enthusiasm to the chapter. When it comes to leadership, I'm committed to leading with responsibility and security, while always remaining open to feedback. I believe in the power of listening to others' ideas to enhance both my own decisions and the skills of those around me.

I served as scholarship chair from Fall 2024 through Fall 2025, and am the current acting Historian since. I’m involved in Mines Little Theater as a stage manager, actor, and screenwriter, and I’m the prose editor for High Grade (the campus arts journal). Besides that, I love getting friends together to play games like Dungeons and Dragons and Magic: The Gathering. I’m interested in research, administration, and instruction for future careers.

The Fraternity is committed to the elimination and prevention of hazing. We have embarked on a comprehensive Hazing Prevention Plan intended to rethink our approach to new member education, engage interested constituencies and, ultimately, work to eliminate hazing from our chapters.

We here at the Gamma Kappa chapter of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) strive to create a safe and welcoming community here at the Colorado School of Mines. We openly welcome any student into our community regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, origin, socioeconomic status, and physical, psychological, or neurological condition, and we aim to make Greek life and campus as a whole an accepting and supportive environment. We wholeheartedly believe in the above, but we must address the fact that FIJI is not a co-ed organization. We are allowed to welcome individuals who identify as males, as per our international bylaws; however, we believe that there is no correct or incorrect way to “identify as male.” Gender identity is a complicated phenomenon that is different for each individual, and we wholly welcome transgender and genderqueer individuals who fall under the umbrella of males to become brothers of Phi Gamma Delta. When anyone from our chapter along their journey discovers that they are not male, we continue to love and support them as sisters or compatriots of our fraternity.
